This week's tasting is going take us on a journey to France, Sicily, and California to illustrate one of the coolest attributes of grapes. I love when a galss of wine can transport you to another place because the flavors clearly represent a unique and distinguishable terrior. I know that might sound, at best, like witchcraft or, at worst, bull malarkey carried on by wine snobs. However, once you start to identify and enjoy these subtle characteristics, it opens a completely different level of wine enjoyment. One of the best ways to begin enjoying these sensations is to focus on a particular type of terrior and its effects on different grapes. This week we will explore this with wines made from grapes grown in VOLCANIC SOILS. Jessica McIntosh will join me to take you on a journey through multiple locations and various grape varietals all sharing VOLCANIC SOILS to help you unlock this really fun level of wine drinking.
This tasting will consist of six (6) wines, a personal charcuterie board, and a special treat for good students after class. The price is $60 per person. Register by clicking HERE.
