The staff at Appellation & Wine Emporium get the opportunity to taste a lot of wine. Sometimes we politely say, “it was nice,” knowing it will never see our shelves. Sometimes we are blown away by an amazing wine only to find out that the price makes this a niche product in which only a few of our customers will indulge. Our “Goldilocks” zone is when a wine (or set of wines) deliver the experience of the expensive bottles at a much more affordable price. Terre Rouge is one of those wineries. Using mainly Rhone River varietals, they are crafting beautiful, expressive wines with quality you would desire for a special occasion, for a price that allows you to drink them regularly.
